Savitri: the Light of the Supreme

Extremely important issues indeed, though this is not the right time to say something objectively without antagonizing one section or the other. But the willingness to discuss the sociological dimensions of opting for a life of spiritual quest is by itself a welcome feature. For, a plethora of interconnected concerns cry for attention but in vain. Modern research in humanities has brought out multiple layers of inter-disciplinary insights, to lose sight of which is nothing short of suicidal. The ability and the courage to look at these challenges on their face is an added facet of yoga today as partaking of a communicative action while remaining alert to media decoding the market as well as technology. East and West meld here, in the common future, in seeking a common sublime destiny. Proprietorial attitudes need a modification therefore, and let multiple interpretations and receptions emerge.
