Akash belongs to the material category, howsoever light it might be, and cannot be equated with Chidakash which is an aspect of Consciousness perhaps more at the individual than the cosmic level. There is a density and heaviness of the material--the Sankhya material--in Akash in contrast to the lightness of the Chidakash. ~ RYD
