I see your point of view, the pitfalls attending such a depiction precluding new people turning to Them and to the Yoga. And surely the quote from the Mother must warrant a pause and some reflection. It also might not be unwise in matters relating to spirituality - especially when it relates to Sri Aurobindo and one is unsure - to exercise caution.
