Savitri: the Light of the Supreme
Re: About Religion
by RY Deshpande
Vikas writes: What if the historian (I am not referring to this particular case) face to face with documents that are extremely critical of his Guru chooses to refrain from the undertaking of a biography instead of allowing his work to be the window to such aspects of his Guru? The conflict here is evident. The historian subservient to the disciple is consonant with the inner life and the inner call.
He has to listen to his inner call, his spiritual perceptions in contrast to the professional demands. He has to resolve the conflict by going beyond all mental formations and preconceived ideas of this or that. If he is a spiritual practitioner, he will accept only that which will elevate his spiritual consciousness, promote his authentic spiritual growth. It is not even a question of pulling out one quotation or other regarding such matters, but what is deeply perceived within or received in the wideness of calm from above that counts. In fact when one is in such a state of settled or assuring awareness perhaps such situations don’t even arise. The wonderful thing is care is taken of such things in another manner. It is a question of one’s basic or fundamental sincerity: Remember “Sincerity is the Password” in every respect. ~ RYD
