What you are saying could be one way of seeing it. But I look at it differently. It is plunging deeper and deeper beneath the layers of consciousness. You start as an individual with the surface awareness only and go down and down into the subconscient, the nightly vital, the inconscient, down below it into the void—and yet below or behind or holding it the sudden superconscient, the Divine alone holding everything from the other side. You enter into the Rigvedic lower dark waters, salilam apraketam, and join through it the upper or bright waters, salilam praketam. The realization of the Superconscient is via the utter Inconscient. Our life is entrenched between two rivers or seas and it should be possible to have the Awareness by crossing through either where both of them join. ~ RYD
