I guess this is the same as the cidghana (dense consciousness) described below in the paragraph from the SOY chapter on "Vijnana or Gnosis". This may also be the state where one recovers the original Samjnana (Supramental Sense)
Rishabchand in the chapter on Integral Perfection in his book "Integral Yoga" describes it as follows (the italics are from Sri Aurobindo's book "The Supramental Manifestation" )
