Savitri: the Light of the Supreme
Re: Towards the Intermediate Race—Evolution: the Spiritual-Gnostic Possibilities: Where are those Cells?
by RY Deshpande
“Even the supramental being/race would first need a prototype on the Higher planes before it manifests on Earth.” -- Auroman That’s perfectly correct. This is what, I believe, Sri Aurobindo had done and the Mother was busy in preparing the necessary conditions for its manifestation in the earthly real. She was doing it by invoking the Will of the Supreme himself. When Sri Aurobindo says that a new creation is ready in the supramental and the Mother declares that a new world is born—born-born-born—the implication is that of the forward movement that has occurred. Let me quote a comment from one of the e-mails I received from Narad (Richard Eggenberger). He was having a session with the elderly philosopher Arindam Basu some time ago here in the Ashram. Apropos of these matters, Narad writes what he was told: At one point when I was with Arindam I asked him about the cells of Mother's body that had been transformed. I said where are they now. He replied: "They are no longer cells because they have been transformed. They are now centers of force waiting to manifest." Yet these centres of force waiting to manifest would need a material base and the true transformation of matter should imply the necessity of the cells opening to the Divine. In other words, these transformed cells are now both: centres of force and material points, bindus, capable of holding more and more of the descending powers of manifestation—the material base is not knocked off but is strengthened and made luminously supportive. I’d even say that the Mother most probably was successful in getting the psychic being materialized in them. It is the materialization of the psychic being which gives them immortality even in the earthly conditions. That’s the wonderful thing she has done! ~ RYD
