What is noteworthy here is that the Record of Yoga also describes some visions he had about previous Manvantaras. See the pages from 1326 onwards where he says, "A series of images and a number of intimations have been given yesterday in the chitra-drishti to illustrate the history of the first two Manwantaras & the vicissitudes through which the human idea has gone in the course of these unnumbered ages..."
