Mohapatra-ji, writing something and getting it published are two different challenges. The academy does not permit many things to see the light of day. If Thapar does not want your book published by Orient Longman or Columbia University Press, it wont get published and it certainly wont get taught at JNU or Columbia. One bad review (on grounds that are more ideological than scholarly) from an entrenched Prof and few will dare prescribe the book. And even if published by your respective neighbourhood press the book wont be entertained until of course such time as when the world has changed and is receptive. I know many brilliant people who have tried and failed - they just happened to have theories that were not kosher....
