TNM: “It is bounden on us to wean them away.”
I’m not sure if it is “bounden on us”. We’ve our own views of life and things and if they are based on pure perception, nothing matters what others think or do, or whether they can be changed, or which way they go. In fact, I don’t know why I should take someone else’s responsibility on my shoulders. Similarly, I might profit from what others offer, but it is not obligatory for me to accept what they offer. The path of each seeker is his own path and, if he is a genuine seeker, then that also is its own guarantee, that he will arrive at the end of the path. No necessity to wean anyone in any way.
Then, why this debate and this discussion? why these blogs? To see to what extent one can profit from others' points of view, and perhaps not more than that.
