We must first congratulate Tusar for his glorious ‘Yes’. Which also means that we can now move forward. One immediate observation which I’d like to make at this stage is as follows. When we are talking of India as a single nation we are invariably confining ourselves entirely to Pak-related matters. This is wrong. This is to display our lack of understanding of Sri Aurobindo’s vision of the Soul of a Nation. For, he actually means it the whole subcontinent. The Mother speaks of it as the spiritual India. This aspect which is the real thing needs serious and mature considerations. But this is an important matter and I’d like to prompt the Mirrorites to come forward with ideas and suggestions and alternatives first on a theoretical basis and then if possible in terms of their modus operandi. Let us hope we will come out with something worthwhile and tangible. ~ RYD
