"When we are talking of India as a single nation we are invariably confining ourselves entirely to Pak-related matters. This is wrong."
Point well made and bears emphasis. It is also refreshing to read the unequivocal and pointedly-phrased question to which the answer was an equally emphatic "yes". Of late, the Truth that Sri Aurobindo and the Mother embodied in their lives and expressed in their writings seems to be obscured under the banner of debate, interpretation and the poison of doubt. We are asked to doubt our belief and instead believe our doubt.
Indeed in the Mother's vision a united India did not include just Pakistan but also Bangladesh, Burma, Nepal, Sikkim, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. Yet we cannot turn a blind eye or be pacifists as far as Pakistan is concerned. This falsehood masquerades as a nation and has beleaguered India with terrorist activities clearly aimed at destabilising India. Kargil treachery, attack on the parliament, and the audacious Mumbai attack have left indelible scars. It has been boldly commented that ".. India cannot be expected to be purely defensive in its response". I concur.
Apropos of united India - the Mother's map of India mentioned above - we can debate whether time and circumstance would change the truth of the matter ie change the external body of the nation-soul that is India, but Mother clearly stated (29th July 1964) "It is the map of the true India in spite of all passing appearances, and it will always remain the map of the true India, whatever people may think about it."
