Savitri: the Light of the Supreme
Re: Amartya Sen on his idea of justice out of London—by Hasan Suroor
by RY Deshpande
My remark about the “lack of touch of Indianness” has drawn responses on predictable lines by confusing it with the currently understood notion of Hindutva. I was expecting also from the commentators their definition of “Indianness” in the absence of which the comments lose much of their meaning and content. As far as I’m concerned, my views can be discerned from any number of posts and observations that are present on the Mirror, particularly in the context of what we have been trying to understand as the soul of the country in the vision of Sri Aurobindo. ~ RYD
