"the soul of the country in the vision of Sri Aurobindo"
Is the soul of the country the collective soul of the peoples of the country or does it have its own existance depending on the geographical demarcations?
From what I understand is that the peoples of different countries have different swabhava or in simple terms different aspect of nature manifests through their actions. If we are talking about soul or purusha which has a quality of unification than just like the souls of individuals are like sparks of the universal soul and in deeper sense one and the same. The soul of a nation should also be a purusha which in a deeper sense should be one and the same as the universal soul. The difference can only be on the level of nature of swabhava. Since different aspects of nature are trying to express themselves so also different peoples do play a part in the manifestation depending on their swabhava, culture and samskaras of the nation.
There is no confusion on predictable lines based on the notion of Hindutva. There seems to be a confusion about the understanding the meaning of soul of a nation and its swabhava.
