Amatya Sen, just like most of our economists and writers, pander to the taste of the west and though claim to be well-versed in Indian ethos, rarely bring out that aspect in their writings. ~ Vijendran Amartya Sen imbibed the influence of Tagore. In fact, his name was changed to Amartya(immortal) by Tagore himself. It may be that he strives to perpetuate the same universality of thought exhibited by his influential mentor. Can you give some examples of where Amartya has gone wrong in his work ?
