I completely agree with what Ned is saying. The Mirror cannot be a platform to project Party ideals of whatever kind these be. I’ll request commentators to desist from such a temptation. There is no question of sermon also of any variety. We are discussing issues of different kinds generally from academic points of view, with academic bearings, and that should as well be our preferred line of presentation. Having said so, I’ll add that the question of age, gender, religion, experience, education, nationality just doesn’t arise here. What is expected is a certain depth of understanding, the sense of ennobling dignity, poise, these desirably coupled with insights and perceptions. “... RYD and other scholars of SA/M have not criticized these things more forcefully on Mirror of Tomorrow.” Is it necessary? We have our own tasks cut out, and each to each one’s liking. I’m looking at the entire thing from the point of view of social organization that should be conducive to the emergence of spiritual society based on Integral Spirituality. This will be perhaps quite apparent to everyone after going through dozens and dozens of posts on the Mirror. And it is in that endeavour I appeal for participation from those who are concerned about these matters. For the collective growth of society some of these desiderata will have to be kept in mind. In India itself, as an example, the problems of social engineering are of a serious nature, and there are degradations of a number of types, for instance, corruption, delay in the justice system. With different parameters this is true all over the world. Without these being corrected, it will be chimerical to talk of Integral Spirituality. It’s here I welcome constructive ideas to come into play.
