Savitri: the Light of the Supreme

Yes, but Bhakta Dhruva was in Hindi. Mother had immensely appreciated this mantra of 'Om Namo Bhagavate Narayanaya'. It was very touching indeed while seeing the film. Later of course we all read in the Agenda what that Mantra did to the Mother and Her very cells of the body. There was another Hindi film during that period worth mentioning is ' Sakshi-gopal'. Mother had appreciated this film too. However, the most memorable and spiritual film that we all saw along with the Mother was in Bengali, 'Nimachaler Mahaprabhou'. In fact we saw several films on the life of Chaitanya Mahaprabhou and Bishnupriya; but the former Nimachaler Mahaprabhou just was superb and the spiritual vibrations that it carried were at its acme. It was a very long film of 3 hrs 30mts. But one never felt it even for a single second ! It was all through a continuous meditation. At the end of the film there was such a profound Silence and a peace that had descended that it truly was palpable. Mother had said,' The whole consciousness of the people of the Ashram as a mass has risen after seeing this film.'
