Re: Sanatana Dharma XXVI—the Four luminous Powers and the Story of Creation

While reading the above article a statement by the Mother came to my mind: there is always necessarily a shadow; the latter will disappear only with the advent of the supramental world.
Sri Aurobindo stated that the Supermind is the dynamic agent of Sat-Chit-Ananda. The new world and order will not be a mere replica of the original perfection, but a synthesis resulting by the working out and harmonious assimilation of all the opposing principles. Then the antinomy light-shadow will dissolve into a wider and deeper perfection, which the second was instrumental in bringing forth. This is the underlying principle of involution/evolution.
Individually, to know the light we must go through the shadow, face it and redeem it, until it dissolves, merging into supreme light. Then the whole human saga makes sense: not an abstruse, merciless creation by an insentient God – but an all encompassing perfection that cannot reach completion until even the most remotely discordant elements are reunified and transformed into unending Existence, Consciousness and Bliss.
